North Korea fires short-range missiles

On Wednesday January 11  North Korea fired 3 short-ranged missiles. The people of South Korea said that this has been going on since the death of their leader on Dec. 17. they also told the news team that they have been trying to improve the distance of the missile because it is only 75 miles. South korea thinks they are trying to start a war with them but if they wanted to they would have fired long-ranged missiles.


My thoughts on this is that North Korea wants to take over the whole country and just make it korea. also if they make the missiles long ranged they could fire at surrounding areas and even maybe over seas at america. It made me feel that if they can make the missiles then they could start another war within the countries boarders.

I think that all North Korea was doing was testing and improving the distance of the missiles. I think that they will eventually use the missiles on others, including the U.S.A. and any other territory that they want to take. If they do go to war with South Korea they will win. I agree with you.

well north korea thinks they can do stuff. they can't. there a small little communist country who has maybe some nuclear capabilitys. the united nations should just send there troops in and be like get out. make it a democracy and if they fire anymore bomb the capital what are they really going to do.

I don't think North Korea should have done this. If they were going to make it one big Korea, then they should just do it, instead of firing short-ranged missiles so they know its a possibility. Becoming 1 big Korea would improve their economy though.

Becoming 1 big Korea would improve their economy though. And I disagree Logan, maybe they wouldn't stand a chance against united nations. But thats not the point, they attacked south korea, and north korea could take south korea.
